The procedure takes approximately 6 to 8 hours in total, with small breaks included.

There are certain things that should be avoided during these few days as they provide a risk post-hair transplantation, such as swimming, drinking alcohol, smoking, high-impact exercise, and more.

Patients have to be careful while sleeping, especially first 5 days it is advised to lie on their backs at 30-45 degrees and sleep with two pillows. 10 days is important for the hair to be held by the scalp so, people have to stay away from smoke. Also, alcohol is forbidden until the medicine is finished. Activities with heavy physical work, exercise, stress, exhausting activities, and sexual intercourse are prohibited for 7 days. Sports, Sauna, Turkish/Russian bath, swimming, solarium, and heavy sunlight are not allowed for 20 days. It is critical to pay attention not to use a machine or razor blade to cut your hair, you can only use scissors, also any chemical process such as dying hair or Rasta is forbidden for one year. In general, individuals have to care about their plantation zone and keep the area away from accidental hits, pulling, or scratching.

Most patients see results between eight to ten months after surgery. For some patients, it takes 12 months. It’s important to know that between two and eight weeks after the surgery, the transplanted hair will fall out which is normal and there is nothing to be scared of.
